Over the past 6 months, we here at DirectSpace have been
hard at work in redesigning our complete network to facilitate full 10Gb
capacity. We’re excited to share with all users that the wait is almost over!
On October 15th, 2012, we’ll be cutting over to
our new core network which will provide full 10Gb capacity to our Portland
DSOne Data Center over multiple providers. This move will address many issues
as well as increase transfer speeds and customer capacity levels across the
network.
The most important issue we’ve been working on eliminating is
network reliability during an attack. We’ve experienced many issues during
these attacks and believe we have addressed many important factors which have
been implemented into the new network.
In addition, we’ve brought two new carriers onboard specifically
for our west coast and Asia customers. These carriers will provide much better
transfer speeds to key locations that have once been lacking in higher transfer
rates to our data center.
We’ll be keeping all customers up to date with our progress.
Thanks to all for supporting our company during this
exciting period of growth.
